He was a licensed Financial Manager with a Series 7 and Series 66 license for over 10 years. He founded NorthPoint Lending Group in 1995 and is currently a Principal and licensed Loan Originator with consistent loan volume of $20 million annually. He has an extensive knowledge of the local market as well as the loan products currently available. His extensive experience in financial management and real estate lending led to the founding of NorthPoint Lending’s private lending and fund management divisions.
Rob von der Sitt grew up in the Chicago area and has lived in various Chicago neighborhoods since 1992. He has a Master’s Degree in Finance from DePaul’s Kellstadt graduate school. Prior to entering the mortgage business, he spent 3 years managing an insurance claims business. He has been a mortgage originator since 1992 and became President of NorthPoint Lending Group in 2006. He is responsible for accounting, licensing and regulatory compliance, and is also a licensed Loan Originator with consistent loan volume of $20 million annually. His extensive experience in compliance, real estate lending and a deep knowledge of Chicago real estate aided in the formation of NorthPoint Lending’s private lending and fund management divisions.
